Paper Birch, a tree species native to North America, is named after its thin white bark which peels off in paper-like layers. These trees can be found everywhere in Ontario, except for the shore of Hudson Bay. A fun fact, Paper Birch are known to rarely live more than 140 years, which is a short life for a tree!

A light cast of grey, speckled with deep shades of coffee, cinnamon, warm gold, and cool grey.

*Please note: Due to the nature of the dyeing process, hand-dyed yarn tends to vary slightly both between and within dye lots. When using more than one skein of a colourway in a project, I recommend alternating skeins every few rows.

All yarn has been thoroughly washed after going through the dye process. That being said, some excess pigment may remain, and may transfer onto other colourways in the garment when being washed. Please keep that in mind when washing your projects.
